2009 Lancer Ralliart - GST Basemap
I was looking at the maps in ecuflash and saw all the clickable boxes. Are these just so you can see the changes that are being made in a table format or is there another purpose for them? Also I've read to enable data logging you need to select mode 23. There are three mode 23 boxes. I know this is complex stuff but I was hoping soneone could shed some light on it for me. Thanks
These Base Maps already have mode23 logging enabled (and RAX Fast Logging, if you have latest EvoScan).

Here's Rich's initial post re: v31 introduction & changes. (I searched so you don't have to)

Eagerly awaiting the arrival of my boostpill from Ams.
Ordered my taxtrix cable from their site Thursday and had it Saturday. From California.
Ordered my boostpill the same day from AMS, who is in Chicago, and i live 30 min south of Chicago, still waiting on it! LOL.

Hey guys. got my 2010 RA flashed with 91+boost pill the other day and I'm loving it so far. Quick question though.. I'm sure most of you know about the modified stock exhaust(muffler) procedure. Works does a version of it or you can get it done at a shop for cheaper. I was thinking of going this route because I'm more comfortable with the stock noise level for DD purposes. Plus I live next to a police station.
Anyway, is there anyone that's done this mod while running GST basemap? will it affect it in any way? I'm kinda thinking it won't, but I'm often wrong.
oh and 1 more quick question. Would flashing S-sport after the basemap mean I would have to reflash the basemap again?
Thanks.

I'm using the GST basemap 93 octane on my RA with the muffler mod and a HFC. No issues at all, and numbers were solid on the dyno.
I started with the stock 93 octane basemap (stock pill, stock exhaust). After that I made some changes based on Merlin's tuning guide, data logging and info collected on dyno pulls. This is on a 2013, so my choices of maps right now are very limited (91 or 93 octane w/ stock pill).
That said, how is the work coming on the 2013 boostpill map?

2013 BoostPill maps have been done for a good few months now.
As yet, nobody with a 2013 has a loggable wideband. Until someone has the ability to send me logging results with AFR, I'm not keen on posting these up.
I did actually post them up, but after seeing a couple of people dive in without any logging of mixtures and hit lots of knock, I pulled them right out again.
It was probably crap fuel, but who needs the stress and risk of wild guesses? Was it low octane fuel? Was it lean mixtures? Was an engine going to fail? With a wideband being logged, it's not a guessing game.
And there's no WAY that I'll go and provide "TBE" or "TBE+AEM" variants of 2013 Base Maps without wideband tests. Bryan took those tune versions leaner, and with more boost, than the "straight" BoostPill Base Maps.
Wideband = I know it's okay
No Wideband = I hope it's okay.
And, just like they say about birth control, "Hope is not a method".

Thanks for reply and context Rich. Hopefully those who have recently installed Widebands on their 2013s will be sending you some info soon
The logs I have from the Tactrix standalone data logger Dynojet's tailpipe sniffer and boost meter (data viewable in Dynojet's Winpep7 app) are likely not to the level of of granularity you are looking for.
