lol no prob i had a prob getting the coupler off too. i just wiggled the Stock pipe loose by shaking it left and right till it came off. putting the aftermarket UICP on was a piece of cake though. But im glad you got it to work. once your hands recover from the icing let me know how you like your new mod and if you notice any sound difference
. I can't wait for my tune tomorrow.
lol well if you have an intake im assuming you have more mods than me. but hopefully you noticed a difference from the uicp. i did my UICP and drop in at the same time and i notice a bit more power in the top end

I haven't really pushed it much but with the intake the top end is a bit better too. Maybe if i didn't have it i would feel more a difference but oh well. I can tell it flows better than stock. I'm happy.
Well im glad youre happy. glad i could help you out. im happy with my mods too. now its time to mod again lol i would love to tune the ecu but i dont want to void the warranty. im thinking race cat or LICP next...any suggestions?

From what i was told the race cat will void your warrenty because you are messing with the emissions but that doesn't mean you can take it off b4 goin to the dealer. I dunno which one i would choose though. The cat is an asy install, the LICP requires a bit more.
I did my UR UICP on Saturday. Total time 1 hr with clean up and test drive.
Plastic cover = easy removal
Two UICP brace bolts =easy
Coupler from turbo = easy
Coupler from IC = moderately a PITA but by having the rest of the pipe disconnected allows one to (carefully) twist it off
Install reverse of removal = easy peasy
If you have a UR UICP one thing you should get that is not included is foam strip with adhesive on the back to go in between the UICP and cross member rad bracket. The UR pipe does not have the opposing bracket braces and there is then the possibility of the pipe rubbing or rattling on the rad cross member (this is the metal that the plastic cover attaches to).
And if you drop tools like I did under the I/C take the bottom plastic panel off until you finish the job.
Not like some dumb *** I know who retrieved his dropped tool then reinstalled the panel mean while dropping the tool again and doing this all over again.
Horn removal will make taking the hose clamp off and on from the I/C much easier, but it is not necessary.

It's always reversible and they won't know that you messed with the ecu when you go back to stock.
Getting my FMIC kit tomorrow from UR if everything goes as planned!! Can't wait till I install it this weekend!!
