Trying to get my AWC reflash. It's like pulling teeth with my local dealer. What the hell, I have to bring a lawyer in there with me to get this thing done?

To anyone who has gotten this done, has your car been tuned/reflashed?

I have the GST map/boost pill installed. Just wondering if I should flash to stock before I take it in tomorrow.

Wondering the same, reflash it back to stock or will AWC flash wipe it. And the other ques is once the AWC flash is done can I reflash it back Stage 1 flash and will AWC not affected?

My mitsu tech told me the flash is for the rear LSD motor because they noticed that it was doing something funny in cold/freezing temps. Maybe that's why west coast dealers aren't getting you guys the flash. If you go in with a tune you are going to come out without one. Not sure about tuning again afterwards and keeping the new AWC data!?!?!

Mine is stock and I have the AWC reflash just done. I asked about warranty and 'tuning' at the dealer(as I was considering getting a flash, which I didn't say) and he said they not only check for reflashes but how many reflashes if any on anything to do with the ecm or warranty issues that could be related.... rough. I suppose if you never have an issue with the powertrain it's not a big deal. But a risk none the less.

AWC reflash is only needed in northern states where it gets really cold. Thats why some of the dealers don't know about it.

I looked into this before I flashed, because i was also worried. Apparently they cant tell if its an aftermarket tune or a standard tune unless they compare the tables. The ECU does not log how many flashes are done.

Can anyone verify if the AWC reflash actually affects the ECU/engine maps, or is it just the AWC controller? I had the flash done, but then I flashed back to the GST map and forgot to compare....

I got the AWC Reflash done last Friday. Shifts are much smoother and there's less lag from a dig.

Yeah I got it done there, but the only thing that irked me was I had to call them about the AWC reflash and when they looked it up that service was in part of the fuel line recall. But over all 112 Mitsubishi is pretty good with their service.

So i went into my dealership today for the Fuel Pipe recall and asked for this AWC Reflash to be done on my car too. He punched in my VIN on the system and says it doesn't show this recall (SC09002) and is unable to this unless it shows on his system

Does anyone know why I don't get it?!?!?

Someone said it's only for the Northern States - for cold weather
I'm in Canada so I think I should qualify for this too?
