Winnipeg is on the list, so Toronto should be too. They might not have been notified by Mitsu Canada yet.

The squeaky wheel gets oiled, so make some noise and they will do it. It is in your dealer best intreset to do as they get paid .5 hours to do the work.

You qualify, and it is there. Your dealer i just a turd. If he is looking it up in the computer at the service counter, it will not show up, as it is not a recall. If they search it in the MEDIC computer, it will show. Had to tell the guy at Mitsu Newmarket to do this, and sure enough it was found.

I just did the AWC flash and the TSB's on the rattle in the window. I brought in the car to do the fuel pipe, but they didn't have it in stock so I have to go back for that later. I did those other two TSB's though.

The AWC Flash helps with the throttle lag a lot. It leaves a lot faster now. There is noticeable less delay/lag. I also went in there with a GST basemap flash. It's still there and feels even better now.

I had the AWC Flash, I don't notice any less or more lag. Feels about the same to me. I don't know about the shifting either. Whatever it did it was to subtle for me to 'feel' the difference.

I brought my car to the dealer at end of September to do the recall for the fuel pipe. Then about a week ago I get a post card in the mail that says the dealership received a part for me and I have to go in and pick it up or it gets returned in 30 days. Called the dealership, they say I have to come in. Now I figured it was for the fuel pipe that was already done but I go in anyway because I wanted to get the AWC flashed.

Turns out I was right, extra fuel pipe part for them now I supposed. AWC flash was done after I asked about it. So turned out well in the end got what I wanted.

IF your talking about the one on Northern Blvd. On like 45th street I think they are shady people...When I got my RA from there they forged my signature and wife signature on contract we didn't sign.I only found out about it when I went to call US BANK about some numbers on the Orginal contract they had a different contract from the dealer with our signatures...BEWARE!!! when you do business with them...and their sales people are not so friendly and fast talkers....

I tried to get the AWC Flash due to throttle lag, but my dealership told me that is a normal driving characteristic for the Ralliart. Also, they proceeded to tell me that they only perform TSB's, such as the AWC Flash, if you are encountering issues.

I may have to try going to another dealership to get the AWC Flash done.

That's where I got mine from.

The guy was a little bit pushy but he wasn't too bad. Their "lax" policy with any kind of official documents actually worked out in my case cause I had almost no ID on me whatsoever when I went to get the car since I was only looking that day. Not only that but he also let me put the down payment on my Amex card, which a lot of places don't let you because Amex charges so damn much. When it came down to financing, since I'm relatively young with almost zero credit history, they actually negotiated a lower rate than every bank I went to myself to try to get financing.

Yeah since I was paying close to invoice after dealing with them for a week...They were trying to keep the deposit which was a few hundred dollars. One of the representive at US Bank was kind enough to explain what the difference was between the two contracts...I got a few freebies from them due to this... I could of taken them to court but it would of cost time and money and I work in Florida and in NY only on the weekends....

I tried to get AWC Flash today when I had the Air bag sensors recall done. They (service) told me they won't do unless I had the warning lite on for AWC due to the AWC ECU won't flash unless the light comes on. I think they are full of it.... I even pointed out that my car fits service bullentin (Canada) and still they said made up some lame excuse of encrytion with ECU AWC. I think there not 1 Mits dealer out there that 100% customer sevrice. Especailly, when I had to show them the bullentin.

That's pretty ridiculous. So unless your car is actually broken they won't do the preventative fix to stop it from breaking in the first place! And dealers wonder how they get a bad name.

tell them they're idiots, since once the light is on they'll have to replace the ACD pump.

Your dealer is full of it. Call Mitsu Canada and complain.

You bet I'm going to. I never had so much hassle from a dealer. I never had it from Mazda.

I went to another dealer, a buddy from High School owns it, and they did the AWC with no issues and no bullsh-t excuses. My car now shifts abit better and smoother. I was having hard shifts from 1 to 2 and downshift was hard from 3 down, especially in the cold.

Just a word of caution. A local here went in to inquire about this reflash.

he was denied the AWC reflash because of his location and was sent on his marry way.

He came by the shop and I pulled the ECU flash and they had reflashed him back to stock. They updated his ECU flash to the latest ROM update, which of course wiped out his tune.
