GST Base Map on 93 OCT and some tweaking!
All,
First of all... I would like to mention that I used the GST BoostPill Basemap (with the pill of course) and adjusted "Boost", Fuel and timing to match the 93 OCT. I could not log the AFR in Evoscan for cross reference but I was able to log it with the dyno WB attached to it. So, if needed please feel free to ask. Thanks to GST for the basemap!
Also, I am going back to finish the tune once I figure out the boost cut I was running into. More of this later!
The story... Yesterday I went to the dyno to test the performance of the RA on 93 OCT. Wow.... do they run rich as f%^k!
Here are the results:

I tried to increse the boost and me been noobie on the RA got the car to boost cut and limp mode. Yeap! I am a noobie on this new platform. Damn it!
Can anyone helped me on what tables need to be modified to achieve 23-24 PSI? As it seems that the 93 OCT was able to hold some good timing and was liking the increased of boost (22.7 max I was able to log just before the ECU going to idiot mode. I am confident that I could extract another 15 WHP and 10 lbs/ft with the increased boost easily.
Here are the tables used for the last pull. I would appreciate if anyone can point what was causing the car to boost cut and limp mode. I tried raising the Boost Limit Table with no success after 22.7 and could not figure out at almost midnight how to prevent that. Just need some clarification and will do the trial and error.

So the blue is stock and the red is with the basemap and pill or the red is basemap and pill and some of your own tweaking for 93?
I can send over a tweaked ROM for you to eliminate the limp mode.
I would like to see the logged AFR if you have it from the basemap.

Shoot me a PM with your email and will forward all the logs I have and the last rom used for the graph above. If you can forward the tweaked rom for eliminating the limp mode, please do so. I will pm you my email.
Also, I would prefer to have the boost cut and the OEM protection for overboost retained but adapted for the new boost level. I.E. Having the protection to be active if you get more than 25 PSI which should be the max I will try on the SST. With low 23 PSI target, the RA was hitting 258 TQ before it went to limp mode and boost forced to like 8 PSI. I was hoping to get a bit over 250 WHP with the extra boost.
Red graph is boost pill + some tweaking on 93 OCT. Blue bone stock rom with code23 enabled for logging.
This one is the stock rom versus your boostpill rom untouched. Good gains indeed!

Not bad for just a flash ha! Should be going to the dyno as soon as I get the boost cut and limp mode issue sorted.

The only thing changed was the recirc valve which I swapped for a metal (Evo IX or Evo X one) one. If you want my logs, I can forward them to you. Also, I pm you my email if you have the rom that is limp mode free. I am pretty sure that a bit more boost will do wonders and should be able to extract some more hp/tq.

Also, have you seen some timing pull at spool up. A third gear pull is showing 6 deg advanced at peak boost when the cell (Load vs RPM) is showing 10 deg and no knock whatsoever during the entire pull.
