Using EcuFlash and the GST basemap

Hey Everyone,
So I just got my tactrix cable and I've been trying to load the 2010 Ralliart GST basemap.

The issue I'm having is when I try to open the GST Rom I get a prompt saying that EcuFlash can not recognize this ROM using any current definitions. I'm using version 1.42.2595

I tried searching around for a definition but I haven't been able to come up with anything so sorry if this has already been solved

So after some more searching I was able to find the info I needed to fix this. Figured I would post here so anyone else with the same issue won't have to dig through the forums.

To fix the error when loading the 2010 maps I followed this post:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...sportback.html

I re loaded the image and everything loaded correctly. After loading the new ROM I cleared DTCs from OpenECU and everything is now working great.

Glad you got it working correctly. When I get some time I will post the XML files for each rom to make sure people do not have issues.

Any feedback on the basemap?

I am a fellow 2010 sportback owner now so expect basemap updates soon!

Bryan, does this also mean there will be updates for the 2009 basemaps? I don't know how many differences there are from 2010 model year.

So far its great! I'm using the map without a new boost pill and even without it I definitely notice a performance boost. Seems like this is the map our cars should have came with from the factory

I think I will pick up a boost pill from you guys soon. My only concern is returning the car to stock for dealer visits.

As long as your dealership doesn't find out somehow that you've flashed the ECU and changed the boost pill you should be fine.

I always flash my car back to the factory map and put in the stock boost pill before going to dealer for any recalls/warranty stuff.

Well, the reason I ask is because he has separate maps for 2009 and 2010 models.

Any updates will span across the model years and regions.

There are seperate maps for model years and regions because the ROM ID's are not interchangeable between regions and model years
