That is a bit too low. But Chi-townOZ you say your's isnt like that. Do you have any pics?

 

it's kinda dark and the angle sucks, but if you are comparing the two, it seems like on the silver one the gap is almost as large as the tip itself. measuring on mine, in person, the gap is a bit less than half of the tip diameter, so it's nowhere near what it appears in the other pic with the wrxetr plate
