What psi were you hitting with that tune? Also wondering why the hp and tq lines don't cross at 5250 rpm. Bet that torque feels great!

Edit: Just clued in. Different scales on the vertical

i didn't ask for stock numbers, I already had a boost pill and GST basemap on the car, so i didn't bother. I could probably find out what i'm pushing for boost too, i'll ask tomorrow.

EDIT: talked to Cam, turbo is peaking at 27.5 PSI and tapering down

there is no way. sorry. And im not bashing at all. Just simply doesnt add up. I know lightspeed and cam very well, as do 4 of my friends, and countless other 4b11's in calgary. this is extremely fishy on his part if hes changed his software to alter numbers.

There is 8-10 ralliarts in calgary running cams(lightspeed tuner) stuff, with equal mods or more not making close to that.

Even my x swapped is making only 30 whp more. Hes obviously changed his correction settings or dyno programming.

Either way ill call cam tomorrow and see whats up. Something has definately changed. The highest numbers he EVER made on a ralliart, and i mean fully bolted ralliart, was 251 whp.

but here's a newb question for you guys, now that all the parts are on the car, when you let off the throttle even when it's only making a few psi boost, it goes PSH PSH psh psh pshpshpsh. i think its either the BOV (which is recirc) or the wastegate, but i dunno. i've heard of turbo flutter before, but i dunno if this is normal or what. I'd expect that the tuner would've noticed it and if it was a problem, fixed it. Ideas?
can you adjust your BOV to open sooner? there should be a "tighten/loosen" screw on it. try loosening it a half turn at a time till it stops fluttering on low throttle.

i'm not sure if there's any damage done at low throttle flutter though, but best not to take your chances.

It flutters all the time... even at WOT. is that a problem?? :/
Also, even what you are still on the throttle before you let off, it sounds like it's leaking or something, not too sure. gonna get it checked out.

EDIT: guess this is normal on the cars.

UPDATE: just talked to Cam, he said he hasn't changed a thing on the dyno and the numbers are legit. He's very happy with the outcome, as am I!! He said that the car peaks out at 27.5PSI and tapers down from there.
He also said the flutter noise i'm hearing is normal and not a concern.

So overall, great job on the tune, pretty sure these might be the highest numbers on a stock turbo

I've had the same issues with the HKS bovs and try as I might, I could never stop it. I even pulled the spring completely out and it still opened to slowly at times causing the "flutter".

Nothing software wise has changed or has been changed. I myself was very surprised and pleased at the numbers. The combination also just seemed to work very well. As I was tuning it you could just feel the car running very free. I used the same scaling as always 1 sec for every 500 rpm. This was the number that was told to me by the manufacture of the dyno so I use it. I could play with this number and it would change dyno output if you want that explained come and talk to me. I invite anyone to look at that number in the history of all the dynos I have done I don't play with numbers. First of all there is nothing to be gained by it second of all I look at all the combinations that get done so I can make better recommendations to my clients based on what I have tested so playing with numbers doesn't get me anywhere either. The bottom line is the car just works good runs free and moves the air very well. Some cars work better end of story I have one client that has a homemade exhaust and a drop in filter on an evox he makes 330whp I have had others come in with different bolt ons that have trouble pushing 320 whp. Just because manufactures say this is the bomb part does not necessarily mean it is. Some combinations work other don't. After having tuned over 100 4b11's I am seeing things that work better than others and some that don't.

Cheers Cam
