Wow that's a great price! Thanks for including the seller info.

The long down pipe also deletes the cat? You would think this would net the most gains but could also be the louder option. It will be interesting to hear what others went with and their experience.

IIRC, the long down pipe does NOT delete the cat. The long down pipe replaces the OEM O2 housing and down pipe. The long down pipe splits the WG dump to it's own separate pipe and the Turbo exhaust to another pipe, and merges the two with a y-style junction for smoother flow.

The shorty dp only replaces the OEM down pipe. With the shorty, you retain the OEM O2 housing. While the shorty, in theory allows for higher flow than the stock down pipe, it doesn't really change the flow characteristics like the long dp does. With the OEM O2 housing, you basically have a collector that all the exhaust gases from the turbo and the waste gate get dumped into before being shoved into the down pipe.

So, in theory, while you could see gains w/ the shorty, the long dp should yield even better gains due to the better handling of the exhaust gases...

One-piece design replaces both OEM cast "O2" Housing, and Downpipe
