I'm trying to load a tune on a friend's new 2010 Ralliart. He purchased a pill from GST. Car is otherwise sock.

Before uploading a tune I tried a test write and received the following popup:

looks like you are using the wrong map to me. You have 2009 base map open and trying to flash into a 2010 car.

You should save his stock rom first anyway, when you read the stock rom you cna confirm what version of the GST basemap you need. If the stock rom id is 55590006 or 7 then it is the 2010 basemap you need.

I did a backup of the OEM ROM before doing anything.

All fixed. My friend has a big grin on his face. Thank you again for the quick reply. Sorry for my ignorance I usually only do Evo's and thought the 2010 was the same as the 2009 on the Ralliart.

Except that 2010 is a 2010, not a 2009 that is a 2009.
