The stock UICP is a flexible rubber. If you blip the throttle while looking under the hood, you'll see the stock UICP expand and balloon under the boost.
If you upgrade to a hard pipe, you eliminate this ballooning and as a result, the boost will build slightly faster.

Was wondering if anyone is running the depot racing uicp on their RA. The price on it has got me interested in it a I don't mind the plain black finish on it. Just wondering how the quality is.
