What is better, hotter plug or colder plugs, especially for higher boost levels?

I'm running the X turbo with 26pounds, no problems. The X GSR I pulled the plugs from is on E85 making 50HP more and running the same plugs.

later 2009 and 2010+ RA has NGK ILKR7E6's. Which are a heat range warmer then the Evo X ILKR8E6
