11.8 RA pass

Went to the track tonight and ran my car for the first time of the summer and 2nd run of the night I ran an 11.82 at 119.69 so I have re claimed the fastest RA again and possibly the fastest sst time in the U.S. correct me if I'm wrong please.

Now I would like to thank ams for allowing this to happen.

Now since all good stories must end bad at the end of that run I noticed smoke when I let off the throttle so i pulled off the track and ended up doing a compression test and realized that I probably burnt up my rings :-( so now i have to take the motor apart again.

I will post pics of the time slip on the comp tomorrow

Damn Hotshot, what is that the 3rd time you have to break down the motor. On a side note, I met your cousin a couple months ago, he had his wife's WW RASB with him. Nice guy!

I think the guy who repaired that cyl. jacked it up. Its either warped or bored out bigger than the pistons is. Keeps frying rings.

Was there any issues before the motor blew on the setup before? If that made sense...

I'm thinking about getting a Green for my RA also and run on E85... Your thoughts?

Control that torque, a fast spooling Green on uber-torque E85 needs careful management. Not to say it shouldn't be done (I believe there are 2 or 3 MR's running that set-up right now), just FYI.
