First logging and Virtual Dyno

So here is my result of my latest 3rd gear pull. When I got tuned I put down 260/290 on a mustang dyno in 4th gear.

Ill be posting the logging soon, Just trying to figure out how to get it on here cause its 1,500 kb and when i put it in winrar it is only 245kb

Try and log another clean pull, but in 4th gear next time; should be much closer to your actual dyno numbers.

start logging about 1s before you go wot and stop logging about 1s after you let off. Doing this allows me to keep my log files around 50k.

To make that process easier and safest, you'll want to use your OpenPort 2.0 standalone logging mode. There's an option in it that will allow you to start logging when you switch on the cruise control, and stop logging when you turn off cruise control (i.e. logs when the cruise light is on and stops when the cruise light is off). For more info on standalone mode see the following:

Or just use a sensible editor to delete line from #2 to <start of pull>, and from <end of pull> to the last line.

Also, I think, the more items you have defined in Evoscan, the bigger your logfile will be - even if most items are NOT selected for logging. I think it puts place-marker commas in the file for every item, every line. This kills me, as I've got a zillion historical items left over from my random logging of memory addresses, trying to figure ROM stuff out.

Rich

PS. My standalone logging works 24/7. I don't like the idea of missing anything!
