Talking Vishnu Standard Exhaust - Audio/Video

Here are a couple of low quality videos I took with my Sony camera. They are small and only 16bit audio but I don't have any webspace for better video clips.

Video 1 359kb

Easy launch, then into 2nd. Then a flyby.

Video 2 351kb

Crossing a small creek. FYI, in 2nd all the way until the end.

Audio 1 381kb

Couple of blips to 5k, then idle, then blips to 2k.

Bad news is I can only keep these up here for a few days...

Sounds good. I'm installing the Signature exhaust/dp on Thursday. I hope it's not much louder. I wish someone would post some vids/clip of the Signature exhaust. The Vishnu clip isn't very good.

How's the performance increase? Are you also running the XEDE?

Performance is better but I don't have my cam gears or XEDE installed yet so it is a work in progress. I dynoed with the exhaust on a Mustang Dyno and got 236HP/243TRQ. Stock Evo's were dyno'ing around 214HP/225TRQ on same dyno, same day. Hopefully I will put down 280HP/280TRQ+ with everything installed.

As far as sound of Standard vs. Signature I wonder how the Signature could be quieter without the resonator in the mid-pipe.

VS

The only thing that bothers me is that I'd have to remove that downpipe everytime for a clutch change. More work! boo....

How come the signature doesn't go all the way to the turbo like the standard does? I just wondering because, i'd think that replacing the stock O2 housing would flow better right?

Thanks timzcat! I'm really cramped for webspace. Can I link them back to evolutionm.net?
