Never heard of or seen any reference to different "versions" of the V.C.I. Sounds like maybe its some Chinese knock-offs to me...

Does this seem like a genuine unit? It's hard to tell if they're knockoffs or not since all the sellers use the same image.

This maybe a stupid question, but will a MUT-III unit do all the enable/disable things the Lexia does? For example: disable TPMS? (I searched and found nothing definite).

I only ask, since I should soon have access to a MUT-III (hopefully)...

Thanks!

Good question! I would like to know this. There is a manual for MEDIC3, but i dont feel like going through all the functions to find it.

This is to clarify the question if you can rent it. I just called spx and inquire about tue mut-iii scan tool. Found out that mut-iii is ONLY available to dealerships. 1-888-727-6672 is what I called.

Atleast for canadians. Dont know about in US

I was also wondering about the coding function thing some say they do not have the coding function while others say they do not have a card slot? Please steer me in the right direction trying to buy one ASAP!

Yes, it will. Yet dealerships don't know how to use it.

USDM MUTIII can NOT disable tpms. I have tried, and you can enter the option coding portion, but when you try to disable it will not allow the action to complete.

How? I have accessed and tried on more than one occasion, personally, without any success. Unless there is some sort of workaround procedure that you know of, but it cannot be performed directly. I would love some specific direction, because I have NEVER found a way in my last 6 years with Mitsubishi...

On the topic of MUT-III, does anyone know of a reliable vendor for the genuine unit or functional Chinese clone?
