Hi guys,
I'm getting P20E0, after a google search it appears to be something with the fuel pressure but im not 100% sure myself
.
Any ideas? I've just recently put on a cb-e downpipe and cat and figured it may have something to do with it but it's been a week and this is the first proper cel I've had. I've changed one relay on in the relay box which i think was the fuel pump relay. Anyways any help would be super appreciated as I'm about a week away from getting this properly tuned and don't want something ng catastrophic like a fuel pump/pressure failing and causing mayhem
.
I should note as well I currently have the car running VTA on the bov so not sure if this is related as well
I know I'll be flamed for that but im hoping for my sake it's related
** After restarting after 5 minutes i now have this error code P20A0

If you're using EvoScan 2.9, be warned that it scrambles DTCs to make life more exciting for you!
Try EvoScan 2.8 to read the codes. Version 2.8 gives you the codes correctly.

I have rly similar mods to you. It wouldnt be the downpipe or hfc i believe since gst turboback maps disable o2 cel.I would say its related to your vta bov. I have an adjustablr bov and if i go more than 50 percent vta i will get a cel on v3 gst. You still have your old bov? Try it on if its related the cel should go away after a couple startups

Why are you doing VTA anyway? for the sound?Originally Posted by crankIT

Testing it out for the couple of weeks without a problem and I've always ran rich with the gst basemap(I'm assuming rich because it's shooting out "diesel like" pollution through the exhaust when I slam it every so often lol). I'm thinking based on both those codes it was exhaust related however I cleared it last night and didn't actually check in 2.8 evoscan.
I'll keep a eye on it, wide band should be fitted in the next week but I drove it rough on the way to work today and didn't have a cel come up again.
I did see a article that there was a company(I think ssp) offered a relay upgrade package for numerous relays but I wasn't sure if that was for the '09 model only. I did read also it was meant to be rectified for later models, I've already done the fuel pump relay with the green relay so any tips for this would be great.
Thanks guys

Ok based on rich's advice i did try evoscan 2.8 and it was a 02 sensor issue(forgot the code but will grab it but a google check sent me straight to evom with rear 02 sensor).
Now my next question to solve this problem is I want to disable the rear 02 sensor and I've spent a good hour reading through how people have approached this and the merlin's tuning guide and dtc disable thread.
Now from what I've read it involves editing the tables and from what I can understand without having my reference files on me(golden's site had updated to a awesome looking site but changed my simplified viewing ) I should be EDM 2011 Ralliart 55570006 .
I should be adjusting the following values I believe:
=========================
55570005 -> 55570006:
Code:
<table name="DTC P1238 Disable 0x0384 -> 0xFFFF" category="Misc" address="633e8" type="1D" scaling="Hex16"/>
<table name="DTC P1241 Disable 0x03E8 -> 0xFFFF" category="Misc" address="633de" type="1D" scaling="Hex16"/>
<table name="DTC P1235 Disable 0x0026 -> 0xFFFF" category="Misc" address="549f8" type="1D" scaling="Hex16"/>
<table name="DTC P1233 Disable 0x0028 -> 0xFFFF" category="Misc" address="549f4" type="1D" scaling="Hex16"/>
<table name="DTC P1234 Disable 0x0028 -> 0xFFFF" category="Misc" address="549f6" type="1D" scaling="Hex16"/>
<table name="DTC P0140 Disable 1500 -> 8000" category="Misc" address="539c6" type="1D" scaling="RPMStatLimit"/>
55590006:
Code:
<table name="Enable catalytic monitoring (P0420)" category="Misc" address="503BC" type="1D" scaling
========================
Now if i do this do i risk damaging the 02 sensor as in should i remove it and close it off or will it just turn off the ecu looking for the rear 02 sensor and it will still coexist in the exhaust without burning itself out.
Hope this makes sense, thanks once again

The thing you're looking for - totally disabling the rear O2 - is actually under "ECU Options Set #2".
Select the cell containing [1] to the right of "bit.1: Enable Rear O2 Sensor".
Hit '-'. It will change to zero.
The bits above and below it will suddenly be highlighted too, but don't worry - that's normal.
When you flash that, your entire rear O2 circuit will be switched off. Yes, that means you really should unplug it, remove it, and put a blanking bolt in its place. If you leave it there, its internal heater will no longer be operational, and you risk damaging the sensor... which would be inconvenient should you need it back later.
By the way, 5559000x is 2010 5MT EvoX, not your ROM ID. Pretty sure your ROM is 56950006. 2011 EDM Base Map, right? Just look in EcuFlash, under "Misc" / "ROM ID"

Thanks rich, what the hell was i reading then lol. I thought i said 56950006. Anyways I'm having the wideband fitted within the next week so I'll blank it out at the same time but whats the most effective way of getting the sensor out of the way I don't feel like chopping it off
any ideas on that?
Thanks once again lifesaver as always.
Should really release a model called the ralliart 'richard' edition in your efforts

lol.
I think you can just unplug it - follow wiring through grommet, follow back under car seat, find plug. But I'm not speaking from experience. Perhaps someone who knows something about something can enlighten us.

Alright good to know cheers Rich I'll go hunting for it today
, you don't happen to know the size socket for undoing the car seat rails?
