Today im picking up a used X ic with Ultimate racing UICP. The UICP is for the x. When I purchase a new LICP from UR should i get the one for the X? or the RA, because I read that the piping to the BPV will be a pain to fit with and X LICP. Also will I see and HP gains?

 

Look in the classifieds, someone has a BPV adapter for sale to make the X LICP work for 20 or so

 

Get the one for the Ralliart, it has a longer hose going to the bpv which makes it fit better. If you want to save some money just get an oem x licp. You will have to get a small pipe to make it work though. This will tell you how:https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/09...tercooler.html

You're not going to get "gains" from an inter-cooler, instead what you DO get is more consistent power delivery, because the larger intercooler is able to keep the incoming charge cooler at higher RPMs.

 

I would say get stock X LICP and grab a stock x or 9 bpv...youll love it compared to the toy plastic ones the ralliarts come with!
