I don't think they replace it unless the pump is 100% failed which would be the c161f code not the c161e I'm showing. hopefully they still honor all warranty issues anyway due to me being modded as well.

You have the codes mixed up. 161E IS the failure code. Bring it in and they'll replace it. You can call ahead to confirm, but I've replaced dozens since they issued the warranty extension and 161E is what Mitsu wants to see to authorize replacement.

161F is the pump protection mode code and they won't always replace for that one.

A lot of people do just that. Wait until the pump fails then once you have a brand new unit from Mitsu relocate it to prevent future failure.

Anyone have it where it states it's covered by warranty? Called over here to the dealer that's close and they don't speak English so I need some leverage, haha...

I do not know the Part number, but there are rebuild kits out there if you are handy. They are something like 200-300 USD

c161e but not the pump

I'm new to the forum so I don't know if I'm in the right place for this.

I have a 2014 Ralliart and just had the acd pump replaced under warranty in September 2019, I was pulling c161f, after the replacement no codes were showing. fast forward to December 2019 my awd service light comes on, and pulling c161e. took it back to dealership and they said it was most likely the acd cpu, they couldn't find where the issue was coming from. replaced the acd ecu myself. the dealership the pump is working fine just can't find the problem. any ideas on what to do?
