I had a CBRD RAD Lite installed on my 2009 Ralliart yesterday.
I have a few questions from those that also have RAD Lites.

1) I thought the turbo was supposed to come with a 20psi waste-gate however with the the waste-gate connected directly to manifold with no boost control I only got 14 psi of boost ?

2) The RAD Lite seems to have much more turbo whine than the stock turbo ?

3) What boost levels are you running and how is the boost response . Can you provide some sample log files ?

Did you get a tune at the time of installation?

 

Tunning does sound like the problem. Isn't internal waste gate connected to the dp?

We do run an 18.5 psi actuator- not all are exactly at that psi- restrictions in downpipe and so forth can affect it- as can humidity in temps---

The louder noise is from the billet compressor wheel and different aero-

Car definetly needs a tune with the turbo swap!!
