fmic piping

i bought the UR uicp half set for my ralliart because i wasn't planning on changing to the evo x fmic. now that i've changed my mind, is that pipe still useable if i get the stock or aftermarket elbow from the fmic?

afaik if the pipe is ralliart specific you need a different length coupler from the uicp to the ic assuming the uicp and ic pipe sizes are the same.

it is a 2.5 inch pipe so i guess its the same as the stock evo x. just have to get the pipe from the intercooler itself. thanks! My other concern is the lower piping. with the sst tranny i'm assuming i can only use piping from the mr and not the gsr?

Just get a reducer coupler and you should be fine! I think it's 63mm to 60mm coupler.
And as for the LICP from what I've heard, they appear to be the same. I could be wrong though...

From what I have read the bottom is the same, only the top pipes you gotta change, been looking at doing this upgrade. Does anyone know that if you switch to the bigger fmic, do you have to do a tune?

i believe if its the only mod on the car, you dont need a tune. if you add exhaust or intake etc. then you do need a tune.
