Time for a 2.4l build!
So, I am looking at getting an ERL sleeved shortblock, 88mm bore and 97 stroke. Probably 9.0 CR. Needless to say, I am excited

I have all the X turbo swap parts on it now, and wanted to keep the torque low until I rebuilt the transmission through Jack's..I was hoping that I could get away with an X turbo on it until I purchased a red/black/or something similar (haven't 100% decided) without blowing anything up
As far as NECESSARY supporting mods for a 2.4l, this is what I am thinking and I feel like I should have more
-injectors (ID 1300) recommended by COBB and I won't be going E85 anytime soon
-fuel pump (what should I be looking at?)
Maybe something to deal with extra vibrations? I'll be talking to COBB more about it as well as ERL, both of whom I feel I can trust, but it doesn't hurt to get some extra info =)
I have a 3 port and the stock evo turbo parts but will it be able to deal with the increased come up of the boost and not overboost? I plan on using COBB so I feel the tuner will be competent (unlike my last one that ended up costing me thousands extra do to incompetence and laziness
) so I would be looking at this more a mechanical side...
THANKS for any and all help =)

Poor tune. That and tuner didn't swap me out to x plugs (thought they were the same -_-') I have a thread on here figuring out the original problem but more recently my spark plug blew and either bent a valve or scratched the cylinder wall most likely.
I had knock sum at like 1-3 but the owner of the shop (a vendor on here) said that was normal/acceptable. Seemed odd but I'm not 100% knowledgable so I trusted them. The car was also running harder when I drove it, I was hitting my boost limit before taking care of adjusting it but they never did on the dyno or around town, so it was probably tuned to like 100 degree weather. Anyways, all around poor tune and they did a bad job on some mechanical work.
So now back to stock, warranty work and then a competent tuner
