Hi there, Just bought a 2014 Ralliart and I wanted to buy a COBB AccessPort for it already! Now my first instincts were to buy it from COBB's website directly but a $500 purchase coming over the border to CANADA won't be cheap on customs fees. So my question is... Is there any solid retailers online that are in Canada and sell the v3 Accessport?

Why do you want to buy a COBB AP? It is way over priced. Spend that money and get a pro tune, tactrix cable and evo scan software. Or if you do not want to do the tuning yourself just go get a pro tune and be done. Open source is so much better than COBB atleast that is my 2 cents and from what I have seen. COBBS do a good job but they just do not give the power you can get with a pro tune. How far do you live from Ultimate racing ? They are in Canada

That would be nifty to have to display diagnostic information! New to the evoscan product and sorry to temporarily hi-jack the thread.. but you can use this tool to tune the RA? Seems like a great investment since it's also based on Android, open source and access to the play store!

 

Cobb is way easier to install and much more convenient for changing maps and logging data from the car. Works great as a boost gauge as well. That's why it is more expensive - convenience. Also some people claim that the turbo back exhaust tunes from Cobb are a bit better than the free GST tune.
Otherwise the GST tunes can do the job for the price of a Tactrix cable...

 

Yes EvoScan can be used to tune the RA. It is used by my many many tuners across the board. If you are going to be tuning the car yourself I would just buy the windows version of EvoScan and put it on a lap top. It cost 25 dollars when I purchased it. I am quite sure it is likely still the same. Just make sure you have a tactrix cable if you decide to go that route with a laptop. They are not expensive either and worth their weight in gold.

The tablet is awesome and a worth while investment if you have the money. Saves you from having to buy a million gauges as well as trouble shoot codes and things on the fly.
