FPR vacuum hose question

alrite, after my fpr hose blew off a couple times, i read about other people having the same problem. So, i thought i could just swap the hose for a new one.

oh boy! the nipples are a different size! No problem, i thought ill just get a smaller hose and stretch it on the fpr.

Well i actually gained allot of butt dyno power by using a smaller hose, my best guess is about 20hp.

So im thinking that cant be too good, i mean something is wrong, rite?

Is the extra power i gained after swapping the fpr hose (before the blow offs) bad for the engine?

I also blew a spark plug a couple weeks later too, i think it might have to do with the extra ponies romping around under the hood...

Where can i get the correct FPR replacement hose?

car is X turbo swapped with full 3" tbe

Use your old hose and just add clamps (or even a zip-tie) to secure it.

Tell us more about this 'blown spark plug'. Pix?
