What is the difference in the OE downpipes between the RA vs EvoX? Is the piping the same ID size? Is there any difference?
Trying to determine if it is worth it to go to aftermarket Downpipe vs EvoX downpipe vs RA downpipe?

The difference between the RA and Evo X downpipes is that the former is designed to work on your car and the latter isn't lol. Evo X one can only be used if you change your turbo. Aftermarket ones aren't all that useful for basic builds - no restriction there. I'd only recommend changing this part if you're doing a full turbo back exhaust.

 

Well I have to change mine, as my current flange to the Cat is old an warped and will not mate well to the new HFC I installed.

The Evo X downpipe has 2 pieces. the lower is the same as our Ralliart which bolts right to our turbo. You can buy an Ultimate racing downpipe or use oem Evo X if you take off the upper section.
