Intercooler piping issue

Hey everyone, did a little searching and didn't come up with a whole lot so if anyone can point me in the right direction feel free.
For xmas I recently ordered a set of Ultimate racing upper intercooler piping. The install went well and everything is on, however the two sections of piping are not lining up. It connected to the intercooler and turbo properly, but where the two segments meet in the middle there is a slight bend and the silocone coupler is under slight stress because there is a very slight perhaps 5 degree bend there, and the piping is not flush. Anyone else have this issue? Maybe I'm just OCD and it's supposed to look like this, but I'd imagine the piping should just flow straight through no bends.

Had this identical problem. Plus the piping sits too high and hit my hood, scuffing my hood and piping. The trick is not putting the turbo side coupler all the way down, and bringing it up more to get a good angle

Will upload pics soon, but that's what I figured. I managed to adjust it and it looks better, still has a very marginal bend in it but according to a few shops and some buddies of mine who have dealt with turbocharged vehicles before, this presents no significant problem. Although everyone tells me to upgrade to T-clamps and get rid of the regular clamps the piping came with.

^yes.

I did have a common wormscrew clamp come off - no issues since going to T-Clamp.

Just off the top of your head what size t clamp do you think I should get a hold of?
I've made some adjustments and the piping is lined up slightly better. Could you perhaps upload a picture of how yours sits, and maybe I could mirror it next time I make adjustments. I'll probably further adjust once I prep to swap the reg clamps to the T

Reason why I am going to spend the extra cash on a one piece pipe. I am OCD like that and being a Quality Assurance Specialist and former military contractor I like things perfect. Post some pics so we can see how it looks.

I deal with manufacturers everyday that make parts for military equipment and see a lot of inconsistencies in parts being made because of poor quality control. Hopefully you get it straight and to your liking.

^^^^This. I started with the UR UICP, but after a while switch to MAPs UICP because of the issues I had with UR UICP.

try loosening all the clamps and moving each pipe to the proper position. Start from one end and work to the other adjusting until its all rt. Or until you figure you need to shorten something or it aint going to work. Then buy something else. But my guess it you will find the issue.

For the most part I managed to work out the major kink, and there is still maybe a subtle bend, but you seriously have to examine the piping to see it. So until I upgrade to T-bolt clamps, this will do the trick. Haven't any issues as of yet and it isn't like I go beating the car up every day.
