AWC Warranty

I was wondering if anyone else got the extended warranty information on the AWC system? I got a letter from mitsubishi about possible corrosion on AWC system in areas that use corrosive material for de-icing the roads? Went from normal 3yr 36xxx miles to 10yr100xxx miles on that particular part.

Yeah, I got one in the mail the other day too. It's nice to see a company doing something like this.

I plan on going after the winter. Then, installing that awc pump shield/plate to block off all the salt grime. I should be right under 100,000 miles too.

What "awc pump shield/plate" are you referring to?

The Laile or the Carbing. Also, eyeing the relocation kit, which I think would be the best. With the prices of JDM parts already high. The relocation kit isn't that much more.
driven - fabrications has one for $299. However, I'll probably just seal it with some kind of sealant and just bend some aluminum (paint it black to hide imperfections).

My original pump lasted 60k miles and i'm now at 90k.

Damn, you're still around? Hay. .

This is the first I've heard of Mitsu extending the warranty on the pumps. Pretty great. My pump crapped out around 75k and I'm just over 92~93k right now .
