I am getting a clunking sound when I am apply the brakes ONLY when I am parked. If I am driving I do not hear the clunking sound when braking. I read a few thread, but most is when people are driving they hear a clunking sound. Any ideas?

I hear the clunking sound from the gearbox itself.

Mods on the car are

GST Boost pill Basemap + 93OCT + TBE
BR Racing Coilovers
White line Rear Sway bars
Upgrade intercooler and pipes
GFB BOV

Currently I have 63,000 miles on the car. Mostly highway miles. All mods on the car have been there for 24,000+ miles with no issues.

So after literally checking the forums for quite some time I found this thread:

It's Park disengaging so you can shift out of it.

 

Glad I read this... new owner and Mine does this from time to time and kind of worried me. GOOD TO KNOW!

 

My 2011 does the same thing and I thought the same thing till I read the forums as well.
