Clunking sound going into gear with clutch pushed in
I've read about this in a thread before but I couldn't find it anymore. Basically I will be in neutral idling, then I push the clutch in in preparation to shift into first. With the clutch fully pushed in to the floor, I shift into first. As it went into gear, a slight clunk was heard and the rpm seems to drop a little. It's as if the clutch's not disengaging completely.
Is this a simply clutch pedal adjustment? Or am I looking at something more serious?

Clutch clunk sound...
I was just about to post something about this. I bought mine used with 21k on it and ive nevr dumped the clutch. This car is too expensive to abuse. I thought at first when i heard this metallic clunk it was the brake pads moving. I notice my noise the most when engaging the clutch going i reverse. My driveway is slightly uphill and i notice if i let the clutch go fully its a loud clunk! Now ive noticed ity city drving with 1st and 2nd mostly. Clunk! what the frig is it?!

now that you guys mention it i have this as well..when i had my sube the front pads would shift or move when you went from foward to reverse or vise versa. i sorta wrote it off as the pads knocking around. to me it sounds like a blown strut or pad knock..
