UR exhaust fitment issue

I've been on a rattle hunt lately and found a great one. The pipe between the two TPs is right up against the heat shield. I'm really not sure how to get the damn thing to scoot over as the exhaust is pretty firmly in place. Anyone delt with this before or have any ideas?

when I put mine on, I took some shears (and later a cutting wheel) and I took some material from the heat shield at the cat pipe flange.

Say, I've got the interior gutted so there wouldn't be any issue just pulling the whole thing, right?

Pulling what whole thing? The heat shielding? or the exhaust?
