Question Engine swap with different parts spec

I have to replace the engine in my 2014 Lancer Ralliart. The cars engine partspec is 4B11-1-M4 T/C but the engine I got reads 4B11-1-22L from a 2009 Ralliart . What does the numbers after 4B11 mean and are the two compatible?

There is slight internal variations, but they are very much interchangeable. Being a 2009 donor, check the timing chain for stretch before slapping it in. Replace it if needed, when it's out since it's easier to do out of the car than it is once it's in.

Otherwise it will drop right in and everything will bolt up to it, it will run like the original and make the same power.

Timing chain, timing chain lubrication squirter, etc etc. There's small revisions throughout the years. Newer ones don't have the chain guide at the top on he head like the older ones. Exhaust side MIVEC solenoid... Small things like that.
