Leaking Seals on Transfer Case and rear Diff
Wrong ideas, all oils break down with time and heat. Read the owners manual and follow the maintenance schedule. The fluids are GL5 gear oil and GL4 for trans. Lots of drama here on fluids but Mitsu oil is nothing special nor do they make their own. Profit margin seems to drive all of these suggestions.
I run redline and mobile 1 full synthetics. No issues or dealership prices. Transfer case is hard to fill but every thing else is straight forward. ACD system ATF is tricky also and uses ATF.moblie 1.

60,000mi/100,000km is the factory recommended service interval for the SST. I would change it if I were you. The issue folks are having when changing the SST fluid is that shops are unaware of exactly what kind of trans it is, they put regular DCT, automatic fluid, or cvt fluid and then the trans/clutches die. Filling the t-case with a slow hand pump makes it easy and able to get a proper fill read, at least it was for me in my MR. The rear diff is very easy and no different than any other rear diff really.
