2 piece chrome ring question

i tried searching but could find anything regarding the new 2 piece chrome ring. My question is can i remove just the bottom piece if i remove the undertray? i dont feel like taking the bumper off again, and since my plastidip peeled only on the bottom piece i figured i would remove just that.

You don't need to take the bumper off to get the ring off, just use a stubby screw driver.

As for the 2 piece, mine is screwed together on the back so you have to take the whole thing off to get to the screws.

There are, but you can reach all of them. Also, when you put it back on you really only need 4-6 of the screws to keep it on. Makes it easier when you need to take it back off.
