Has anyone installed the HID factory projector headlights on a RA that came with the halogen headlights? If so what is needed to do this?

 

Whatever you do make sure you change the housing as well. It's illegal in most states because the HID lights in halogen housing will literally blind people.

 

Nshrea he's actually talking about taking out the whole headlight and replacing it with oem projectors. And yes I have done this like not that long ago. It is basically plug and play. Unplug your stocks ones and plug these in.

 

how did you get around the AFS?

 

What's AFS? Not sure what you're talking about but you have to take the bumper off to install.

Oh ok lol. I think your market the evo x projectors came with them. AFS is all controlled through the etacs ecu. So since you're model lancer doesn't have it it won't work, unless someone enables it through the etacs ecu
