I do not remember the exact price, but I think it was about $125 for all 4 pieces. Well worth it in my opinion to have the clean OEM look. =)

plasti dip doesnt take that long to dry. Infact it says right on the can to apply next coat when its tacky, which takes about 10 minutes.

i plastidipped all my chrome just the other day, came out very nicely and looks excellent, considering it was 25° and dark out, i really just wanted to experiment with plastidip. biggest thing to me was to make sure i could peel it off, which i believe it will just fine (as long as you dont sand obviously). gotta revert this puppy to chrome after 3 years (lease). really improves the already assertive front end look even meaner. maybe ill take the first photo of my car and post it

Glad you guys are still getting use out of these. My window trim has been on for 1.5 years now and into it's 2nd winter...still looks perfect.

The plasti-dipped ring has developed some rock chips, so I'll be peeling and respraying that piece come springtime.

^Same here.

The only scuffing on the window trim was a result of my own negligence, I rubbed off some of the plastidip once with my finger nail, thinking it was some kind of dust on it...

I'll be respraying everything again come springtime too .

A note to anyone considering peeling off the plastidip soon: wait until its 50F+ before peeling it off. In colder temps the plastidip is extremely brittle and will not come off easily.
