So heat it up with a hair dryer before removing? Good to know

 

tried this task this weekend came out like total **** with Frog tape.. its just way too strong.. and the pastidip adheres to it. taking off some edges of the fresh chrome.
Sunday i redid it by spraying the rubber and chrome.. but i am noticing this will not last.

i will try again this upcoming weekend... with the blue edre locking tape.. and see how it turns out.

That looks tight on the Rally Red... looks like I found my next project

 

Make sure for the front doors when remvoing trim... you pull back to the rear of the car.. and than lift up..

for the back doors... you will be pushing toward front of car.. than lifting.

**tips: windows down and doors open works best to remove. oh ... and dont use frog tape, i will let you know how the blue edge lock tape works. **

 

I did mine just using the blue painters tape and it worked perfectly. But then my mom bought a regular Lancer so I then peeled the plasti dip back to the chrome and changed them with the regular ones which come black already.
