I used Dupli Color high heat paint. Two coats of each color. For the black I used color DE1634. The red was DE1632 and the orange was DE1652.

I thought when u paint radiators and intercoolers your supposed to use radiator paint cause the thick paint blocks some air or something?

I plastidipped my lip and ring. The ring came out fine but i keep getting some spots on my lip that look wet. Can you use regular flat paint on the plastidip or will it eat it up?

I would suggest removing it. A number of users have take the bumper off completely to remove the ring whereas others, like myself, have removed it without going to that extent. It is held on by 15-20 screws (I forget exactly how many there are).

Yes, although a few of them near the bottom are pretty tricky. There is a How To thread about removing the ring without taking the bumper off IIRC.

Here is the thread that I was referring to (i.e., removing the nose ring without removing the bumper): https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/09...-o-bumper.html. It was not in the How To section. Rather, it was in the Show and Shine section, so my apologies with that.
