You don't have to take apart the housing for that. It's a 194 LED replacement. Look in your manual for replacement instructions.

OK thanks. But in the picture it looks like that god awful yellow reflector was removed from his headlight. Is it even worht the trouble to remove that. i would want to get water inside the headlight after messing with it.

I believe he is talking about the front lip portion that is blacked out below the nose ring. I was also wondering if you guys use plastidip or is it some sort of adhesive film???

Most of the people i've talked to used Plastidip for it. Just take off your lower grill, mask off the bumper and do it

I believe I have seen both and both look great. But I was also wondering how the plastidip vs. the film ages? Does the plastidip chip easier? Where would one aquire such a film to custom fit. Does the mitsu dealer stock them? Thanks

The Plasti-dip lasts a good long while. Its a rubber material, It's like wrapping it with a balloon, so it will be less likely to chip. That is if you put down about 4-6 coats and prep the surface.

I blacked out my grill will Plasti-dip at 2 coats and it's holding up fine. No chips at all

I got it from http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trk...All-Categories. I also found out that there is a shop by my house that also makes vinyl stencils. I had them make me 3 extra ones because I'm sure that I will have to respray it in the future.
