Looks good and like you took your time.

Almost too much black for me though. I like the black on white look but I also like to balance that with the "clean" look. Sometimes these types of things look totally different in person too.

Not hating though, I do like it.

Did you plasit-Dip the lower bumper too or is that vinyl?

By the way, looks like the HD lip is gone? it must have been a pain and lots of goo-gone to get the double sided sticky bits off...?

So what did you do to prep the lip for the plastidip? Did you take some fine sandpaper to it or just clean it up and spray it right on? Looks great

no **** jscout21, this stuff seriously needs like a couple days to cure or else water will make it weak and peel off. if your just going to let it sit over night it has to be perfect condtions...humidity...etc... otherwise give it as long as possible to cure. jscout21 evidently has difficulties w plastidip. the stuff is awesome. and if your going to plastidip something dont scuff and prime underneath...that defeats the purpose of it pretty much. plastidip is used so you can peel off if you wanted. if you are going to scuff and prime then just do it right and get a paintjob. also be sure to use the right cleaner if you plastidip peices. i used acetone which is an extreme cleaner...wouldnt quite use it on paint but my rims and bullring i used it on an the dip sticks amazingly. my rims have lasted forever and they are beautiful, and so is my bullring which has no chips or anything.

Ok guys got it...lol I obviously didn't plasti-dip correctly according to well all of you, but too late I have already painted my ring and looks good. Next time I plasti-dip ill give it longer to dry and when I said to scuff and prime, that was only to paint it not plast-dip and again the plastidip on my hood scoop is holding up quite well. Good luck to all you you in what ever you choose.

Thanks for all the insight fellas

Could some of you that have used Plasti-Dip successfully, post some photos? How does it hold up in the engine bay? Thinking to do my Evo IX front diamond emblem and Greddy catch can.

Thanks,

Jay
