lamin-x lens film???

Has anyone tried these out yet? They are custom fit for our headlights and foglights. A rock has already chipped one of my foglights so I'm considering picking up a set. Anybody know if they are any good? Here's the link... http://www.lamin-x.com/Mitsubishi-EV...rs-p/mt012.htm

I've used them on past cars. Quality is good and the look is good. Only thing to be careful of is that it causes more heat to build up in your fog light housing, so it will weaken the lens over time depending on how much time you spend sitting around with them on but not moving (that's when they get really hot, especially if you are running halogen bulbs and not HIDs).

I did not know this. I currently have the yellow stickers on my fog lights so now I will have to keep an eye on them.

Thanks for the response guys I will try them out as I only use my foglights when night visibility is poor. Any advantages to the yellow tint for the fog lights?

People have claimed that yellow-tinted light penetrates fog better than a full-spectrum light, is easier for our eyes to see, etc... but there is probably no difference.

I just like the yellow lights oohh pretty

Yellow light is supposed to be better in poor conditions, i.e. rain and cloudy weather. That said, having yellow tint over regular "white" lights will most likely not improve the actual light output, but will make it easier for others to see you at least in poor conditions.

The big draw of the yellow tint is just that you can see the yellow even with the fogs off which looks really nice on most car colors. =)
