So this is with the X turbo swap?

I'm looking at doing the same thing. Do you mind if I ask how much it ran you? I just bought an X turbo for $300 shipped, but need a lot of parts to complete the swap.

Did you do the work yourself, or did you take it to a shop?

Looks good BTW.

i payed 500$ for all the parts needed.
I had it installed at the dealer, cost 800
Tune was 700
then an oil change and 2 gasket made up another 100$ or so.

Okay man, I asked a fair question and now your just F'n with me.

Your dealer installed an Evo X turbo on your RA!?!?!

Seriously, $500 for the parts? I'm assuming that didn't include all the hardware included in the AMS list:

1515A183 (1515A198) Turbocharger 2,022.79
1555A476 Exhaust manifold 514.82
MN119784 Exhaust stud x2 (these will not come out of your Ralliart turbo without breaking) 9.73 x2
1515A150 Turbo Outlet pipe 62.20
1515A184 Turbo to manifold gasket 44.10
1555A289 Turbo to 02 housing gasket 40.37
1555A423 O2 housing 171.77
1225a155 Oil feed line 27.22
1225A181 Oil return line 75.97
1310A469 Coolant return pipe 12.10
1310A577 Coolant feed pipe 25.20
MF650114 coolant banjo bolt x2 7.37 x2
MF660065 coolant banjo bolt gasket x4 0.95 x4
1542A042 Inlet elbow 61.08
1515A053 Inlet elbow gasket 10.10
1570B095 Downpipe 304.52 (it would be cheaper just to get an AMS widemouth downpipe instead of stock Evo downpipe and O2 housing)
3078.50 + 27.22 +304.52 total list.
1055.71 + 27.22 + 304.52 without new OEM turbo

So the dealer probably added parts like gaskets, bolts, etc? Total you were looking at $1,300 installed, that's a good deal! Then a tune, so 2K complete.

All parts means all parts lol. Turbo, mani, 02, evo x dp, all gaskets, all hoses, all intake tubes, and oil feed lines, everything. I can scan the invoice if you think im lying.

And yes, my mitsu dealer installs all my parts. They are doing 2 more x swaps in the next month as people want them now that theyve seen the power that can be made.

So yes, 500 for parts, build out 800 for labour, 5$ in gaskets, and 700 for the tune. After tax it was 2100$ something tuned. Well worth it.

Easy man, I was just messing around, I'm not saying you lied, I just wanted to get the details straight.

My local dealer is a complete tool, we've had Evo guys bring in their cars and get their warranty voided for not having the OEM boost pill. Complete nightmare.

Who did you go through to get your parts? AMS is asking for more than a grand for just the "kit" without a turbo. I want to get the swap, but I need to save as much $$$ as I can....easier to sell it to the wife that way.

i think you took me the wrong way, i said i could scan it as a joke. Sorry if i came off serious.

And i bought the parts slightly used from the dealer. Someone had written off their MR a month or 2 before and the dealership bought the car and stripped it for parts.

Worked out well.
Thats how i got every part needed for such a dirty price.

my dealership is probably one of it not the most mod and aftermarket friendly dealership in North america.

ill take pics of the parts department one day. Its all aftermarket stuff.

Hehehe...innerwebz doesn't always come across very well.

Great deal on the parts, yeah, I wish dealers were more mod friendly around here.

I am hunting down the parts I need, hoping to get some good deals on the more expensive parts. If I can get the rest done for under 2K (already have the turbo) I'll be happy.

Wow Cosis. A great great price and install from your dealer? I'm assuming the dealer warranties the work so you are probably good to go.

Cosis you got a great deal!

I had $1807.03 in my swap AFTER selling my stock parts and this includes tune for $750. And I installed everything myself.
