I noticed the following air intake extension (circled in red) on one of the earlier pictures in this thread.

Any idea if it is sold by a vendor, or is it a custom fabrication?

I just checked the other day and couldn't find the one that worked for the RA but found a few for the GTS/ES/DE scoop. I could have sworn there was one made to work with the RA scoop (obviously, since there are people here with them) but I cannot locate the source currently

the snorkels are interchangeable between the RA and the N/A Lancers. So, I'm certain that this intake cover/diverter/whatever would work just fine with the RA snorkel.

Personally, I think it would do more harm than leaving it stock up there. That part of the intake is separated from the rest of the engine bay by weather sealing on the hood. So, leaving that part stock would be more "free flowing" than forcing all of the induction air to go through the holes in the diverter/radiator panel, but that's just speculation on my part.

Mounting and routing are the same, but I believe there was discussion that the actual inlet area is slightly different for some god-awful reason and the piece is not a direct fit for the RA scoop.

Not the cleanest because it's high winds season here in el paso. This means lots of dust everywhere and yellow skies. lol.
