You answered your own question. Wait till you get tuned for the appropriate boost you want to run for your setup.

install it if you want and set it to 19-20psi, you'll be safe until you get tuned.

which 'how to' are you following? I heard there is a couple of different ways of installing a MBC and would like to know which way is the better way. TIA

you can either use the port on the compressor housing for boost reference or "T" into the BOV line for boost reference.
I have always used the port on the compressor for my MBC.

both will work
compressor housing is the more popular one used
and hallman recommends

In my experience, the compressor housing was VERY sensitive to boost changes, and any wastegate activity caused big changes in the boost coming out of that line... this equated to a spikey boost curve, in which I would spike 2-3 psi higher than what it would then go on to hold. So I could spike 23 psi and hold 20psi, which isn't really ideal.

I have since moved the MBC boost source to the BOV line and have had MUCH better results... the spike is still there, but only about 0.5 PSI, and I'm able to hold as much boost as I need until about 5000RPM when the taper starts. Now I spike 24psi and hold 23.5psi... much better!

IMHO, sourcing from the compressor is too innaccurate. The air will go through piping and the FMIC, at which it will lose some pressure and smooth out. By the time it gets to the BOV it is ready to go into the engine. This makes more sense for me to source the MBC from.
