evos easy to steal?

i just bought my car like...2 hours ago and i got a low jack but its not installed yet, as well as im going to buy a good alarm...why is the evo the #1 car stolen i heard on the news a while back...is it easy to jack? should i not drive it to work tommorow untill i get an alarm? thanks guys

you will be fine driving it to work. Just make sure the car is locked up nothing in sight that can be stolen. also dont leave it running if you arent going to be around it!! Also dont be so paranoid have fun with it thats why you pay insurance!!!

its normal to be paranoid. i just got my 06 mr like a month ago. got broken into already just the deck and some other stuff thank god. thats partly my fault. but just make sure you watch where you park and leave nothing insight. and its not a bad idea to keep checkin on it every once in awhile.

haha you wake up in the middle of the night 5 times and do your checks, you should be getting payed thats how most security gaurds do their job, sleep, check, sleep, check etc. :]

Do you guys own +30K cars and have no garages to put them in? Am I wrong in assuming that you don't own your own homes?

we don't all have access to garages...some homes don't come with garages
...besides the evo doesn't live in a garage...u gotta go get groceries too? some people lol

I park in East Butf@ck, under a light, when I go to the store. And, I live in a very safe and secure neighborhood. I can't imagine leaving the car parked outside as the norm.

As the comments previous to mine mentioned overnight parking, I didn't think it was out of line to assume they weren't leaving the cars at the store.

Do you park yours outside?

OCD?

dont worry. civics and stuff get jacked more. evos are the #1 recorded since they're new and stuff.
