I'm going to the track tommorow, and have a question!!!!
Just wondering if it is ok to mix 93 octane, with a higher octane race fuel. I do not have time to run my tank dry, and fill it up with high octane race fuel. Also if it is ok, would it even make a diference in track times. My current set up is k&n short ram intake, turboback exhaust no resonators, turbosmart dual port bov, turboxs high performance boost controler set at 22lbs of boost, walbro 255 fuel pump, and a custom dynoflash road tune. Also if all goes well what kind of times should I expect with these mods. Thanx, everybody's info would be well appreciated.

Its perfectly fine for you to mix 93 octane with 100 octane unleaded racing gas. By doing so, your octane level will increase therefore reducing the chance of detenation. You should always run race gas whenever you are tracking your car for higher safety margin. Hope that helped!
Thanks,
Tom

BTW, I'd recommend getting some pump gas runs before throwing in the higher octane...
Your engine gets a lot hotter on the track than the street. I would say definitely run some race gas with a custom tune, but definitely don't run leaded race gas, make sure it's unleaded. Mixing race gas and pump gas is a good idea, you probably don't need to run full 100 or 104 octane. The cost would outweigh the benefits. I would guess a 96+ blend would be perfectly safe to romp on all day even when it's hot out with no adverse affects with your setup. Honestly with the knock control of the stock computer you shouldn't really mess anything up without race gas, but a little race gas is a small investment to get rid of that "what if" factor.
