Dataloglab evoscan 2.5 definitions?
Dataloglab evoscan 2.5 definitions?
would anyone happen to have updated their dataloglab defs for the new evoscan2.5 i'm having a hard time getting the definitions to work with the current request i.d.s. i'm using a zeitronix for wideband and for boost sensor, but i can't get it to read the boost setting and the 2byteload.
Here ya go
Hey guys whats up. Glenn from datadoglab answered my email over there. I tried this out already and it does work. Now I just gotta figure out how to get my LM-1 to not cut off after 2 minutes on evoscan. Any of you guys have an answer to that?
Instructions on what to do with the file:
1. Save the file in C:\Program Files\DataLogLab\Universal Data Log Formats
2. Run Data Log Lab and go to Customise->Options
3. Go to File Locations and Power Graph tab
4. Click on the browse button (...) next to the Universal Data Log Definition File and then select the file that you saved in step 1.
4. Then click OK to exit the Options window and click the "Yes" button on any dialogs that appear (their may be one or two).
5. You should now see the right format in the Files of Type field of the File Open dialog from the main Sample Graph window. Select this and find your data log to load.

I just went through hell trying to get my evoscan to work. No thanks at all to customer support for evoscan. What was wrong with yours?

TYVM Im gonna see if I can put this to work for me... next gotta but DLL...
just wanted to add that if your using 2byte rpm just change the colum title from RPM to the same title that is on your excel logs (RPMMUT2byte) i believe. if you dont it wont read it and you wont be able to do a hp/tq graph. i just copied the definitions and saved one as that goes off of 2byte and one that goes off of reg.
Just installed my ZT-2 a couple days ago, and encountered the same issue... Wouldnt even connect w/ the "external wb afr" checked... Reset the COM's and still nada... I un-installed/re-installed Evoscan 2.5, 5 times, trying to set the COM's and on the 5th try, it worked! Dont know what was done different, but @ this point, I dont care... Zeitronix says that if ur using the serial cable to set it to 1, and if using the usb cable, set it to 3-8. Well 3 and 4 didnt work for me, so I tried setting both to COM 1, and it worked! I have written this in a couple threads now, dont know if this will help any1, but this is what worked for me...

The weird thing is I can use ECUFlash fine and I can get EVOSCan to "connect" if nothing is checked for logging. As soon as there is a parameter checked it won't connect.
Here is my latest version of the file that was posted earlier in the thread. It includes the 1byte load.
Could someone PM me Glen's email. He asked me if I had a new version. I would like to send this one to him.
