downloaded the AYC/ACD ROM
Hey Dudes,
Anyone got any ideas how we can grab the AYC ROM?
I was reading an article about the IX that won targa tassie using a MOTEC ACD computer.
Anyways I thought it would be cool to start playing with that part of the Evo
I guess I will email Colby and Hamish

I think Works posted a while back about selling remapped ACD computers. Supposedly there is A LOT to be gained from reprogramming them. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to tune them, but it sure would be cool.
One simple thing that would be nice is that ability to lock the ACD for launching.
Can the ACD ECU even be connected to using the OBD plug or would we need to connect elsewhere?

Hell yes, I can't wait for Tephra to get into these
. I read about some serious gains also but the new units were like $1400+ if I remember correctly

Tephra - is there anything we can do to help you with this. I don't know how to do any dissassembly......but I do know how to click the donate button. What else can we do??

damn it.... this would be the best... if there was a way to lock the AYC.. i hate it!!
i know people who have done it here in Trinidad..
AYC is too predictable, the USDM evo IX guys are lucky.
Can someone explain what they mean by hacking ACD, and how gains can be done?
