I'd like to know where the latest download link is as well. My Wideband is no longer logging...

v2.7 is still in Beta for another week, I found a few small beta fixes for Hamish to make (thats what beta cycles are for), it is work in progress. v2.7 is awesome i must admit - ROM Editing, Maptracer all in one. the Road Dyno Power graphing is now very close and accurate to my power curves on my dyno runs. EvoX DTC read/write, wow, now as an Evo7/8/9 owner i don't even need ecuflash to do tuning. In EvoScan MapTracer I just right click the timing or fuel map and click "write changes to evo8 ecu". Now I just use ecuflash to set the limiters, and other obscure tables (once in a blue moon). I think the next version of EvoScan v2.8 will have Live tuning for Evo.

ROM editing in maptracer didn't work for my EvoX so Hamish is going to clear that up along with some other bugs he discovered today before releasing it.

Here is my EvoScan v2.7 Beta Results (10th March 2010)

2008 EvoX GSR Read DTC: WORKS
2008 EvoX GSR Clear DTC: WORKS
AEM UEGO Wideband fixed: WORKS (with AEM issue, I think it was only just fixed up last week, grab new beta if the old beta isn't working.)
Map Tracer Interpolation Calc: WORKS
Power/Torque Road Dyno Graphing: WORKS (its within 20hp of my real dyno graph)
Pressing MapTracer button from Graph screen now just map traces that zoomed log file portion: WORKS
Map Tracer ROM Editing 2008 EVOX Timing Map: WORKS
Map Tracer ROM Editing 2008 EVOX Fuel Map: WORKS
Map Tracer ROM Editing EVO VIII Timing Map: WORKS
Map Tracer ROM Editing EVO VIII Fuel Map: WORKS
Map Tracer ROM Reflashing EVO VIII: WORKS
EVO VIII ACD Datalogging: WORKS (w/ Op1.3u, not on Op2)
EVO VIII ACD Actuators: not working
EVO VIII ACD Read DTCs: not working
EVO VIII ACD Clear DTCs: WORKS
EVO VIII AYC Datalogging: works, but incorrect RequestIDs and formulas for Evo8, think its currently only for Evo4/5/6
EVO VIII AYC Actuators: not working
EVO VIII AYC Read DTCs: not working
EVO VIII AYC Clear DTCs: WORKS
EVO 5/6 MapTracer & ROM Editing: WORKS

here a summary of my test results on the latest 2.7 beta :

Car : IX /EDM 2006 with 1.3U cable modified for ACD/AYC
Test date : 07 March 2010
Evoscan version 2.7 final beta downloaded March 6th

EFI ECU logging & actuator test : OK
---------------------------------

EFI (OBDII) DTC : OK
----------------------------

ACD ECU logging : OK .all logged data values looks OK (did not test it with the car running but most seems ok with the car stopped)
---------------------------------------------------

AYC ECU logging : Fail - connect is OK but dat's are weird & never changes values (always 0xFF). Strange because ACD log is working .
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ACD/AYC ECU actuators : connect OK but actuator does not activate (tested 'pump drive' first with the engine off & on and both fails - I can not hear the pump working ).
-------------------------------------------------------------

ACD/AYC ECU DTC (MUTII AYC) : Fail . connect ok but weird datas (hopefully for my car !)
---------------------------------------------------------

I get the following error when trying to open logs:

"Error Loading MapTracer:Input string
was not in a correct format.Couldn't store <09/03/10> in "LogEntryDate"
Column. Expected type is Double.

What causes this?

He needs to make a 'bug-free' one-stop-shop if he is going to keep customers these days. Others are already designing freeware that will do reflashing,live-mapping,logging,map tracing and dyno simulation all in one. I'm all about supporting Hamish so I hope he can pull it all off I'm looking forward to v2.8

Works for me, no bugs here. Needs more ecu support, but EvoScan has always been the leader there, the rest just copy, and then fade out when they can't support all the o/s's and regional settings. Dyno rooms come and go, xls sheets come and go, EvoScan always works I just found out that you can buy EvoScan for Windows CE without the gps unit. sweet.

Yeah I'm 100% you're wrong.... take a look here... 100% Working Evo8 and EvoX map editing in EvoScan v2.7FinalBeta10march... I'll try an Evo5/6 rom and I'll let you know if it works too. Also check out the Interpolation on the data subgrid, and notice it now only shows the selected graph zoomed log area on the maptracer.. great for multiple runs in the same log.

I just had a great idea, what if it could do "auto smoothing" the cells to the right and below, perhaps an auto smoothing %, say 50%, and effects # of cells, i.e. 1 neighbour or two neighbours.. what do other tools like motec and link do for smoothing help?

I have log fault ticket with Evoscan helpdesk and perhaps someone had this problem (EvoscanGPS) before can suggest fix.

Problem:
When I connect power directly via USB or if I turn on EvoscanGPS via battery, the screen will constantly green for more than an hour and nothing changed. It won't respond to any button including power.

Even if I press the soft reset, it remain same, nothing changed. However if I press soft reset + power button at same time, screen will turn black and then green again and nothing change there after. The memory card is ok, I can read it from my PC too.

Suggestion?
