I got the idea from the thread posted by Clipse3GT.

How to: Make a distribution block for Gauge installs....

The Gauge mounting pod from summit racing is universal, costs $19, is carbon fiber and the product number is SUM-G2878 . I will be mounting the gauges above the ash tray like this. I decided to use Clipse3GT's idea because I did not want a pillar pod or mount any gauges above or on the steering column.

Thats pretty cool thanks for posting the video.

Thanks for the other links and the additional comments. I really think anything below the dash area would be too low as well.

I don't think they need to be on or by the dash...will they not work otherwise
Basically I thought that by using evoscan and logging I can sound warnings if afr, boost, knock...etc reaches a level I do not want. I really do not plan to stare at them while driving...

Honestly after looking at different set ups. I like the gauges in the A-Pillar the best. It keeps the dash and area around the wheel looking clean and not cluttered. The only thing that worries me is messing with that area because of the air bag. Is this an area that I should just stay away from?

I saw the A-pillar pod that NFSlancerRA posted a link too. If the gauge pod would match the color of the interior I think it would look nice.

The only issues that I have putting gauges on the A pillar is because of the airbag. Its really your preference.

Rexspeed has a matching color dual gauge pod for the A pillar, if that's what your looking for...edit (NFSLancer posted this up further)

Didn't think the decision would be this tough lol. I am going to review all the options better before I just jump into anything.

What size is everyone using? 52mm or 60mm....still wondering as I feel 52mm looks a tiny bit too small for my liking....

Yeah I was wondering why they weren't lined up too? What kind of gauges are they? Is that the rex speed gauge pod?
