I really dont see how any of their employees or customers posting the specifications of the product would be against the vendor policy. If they were trying to sell the product yes, but posting flow rates, trim, housing specs and dyno charts? cant see how thats against any rules.

Wont customers be posting this information on their own as soon as they get their hands on the product?

Unfortunate. I liked to ask them a lot of questions as it's just in my nature. But VERY FEW companies on here post anything even remotely close to the knowledge level Scott and Robert would.

Damn the man.

Vendors make decisions on where to spend their advertising budget based on where they can best reach their customers, and taking into account the prices that are demanded and the level of support that is provided ... if you are a forum, and start to see vendors choosing to no longer participate, you should take the time to figure out what you're doing (or not doing) that drives those kinds of decisions....

That is correct. They are not venders anymore and Roberts doesn't care to participate in the forums... To each his own.

that's "high" hta green territory. the hta green dyno plots on the fp website show ~425 whp for a 2L evo 8 on pump and ~450 whp on a built 2.3L on pump.

Taken from Facebook:

Finally got my car over to the rollers yesterday, put down some nice low to mid 400's with the 71HTA on pumpgas, this will be a nice budget turbo for street hustlers.

MODLIST:
100mm MMC crankshaft
Ross 9:1 pistons
FP4R cams
FP beehive springs
ported stock intake manifold
stock exh manifold
Buschur FMIC
full 3" exhaust system
exedy twin ceramic clutch with push conversion

Other comments he made:

Yeah, its my car so yes its not a short stroke budget motor, all my knobs are at 11 24/7

Not making a new color designation for this turbo, not going to build them as New Turbos either, just cheap core swap basis, something for the budgetarily challenged projects out there. We can do this unit for $650 exchange went ahead and built up a batch of 15 for the shelf so whenever people send in cores, we can ship same day.

Keep in mind his car is not average, he has a freaking super freak of a car, Curt Brown style, so don't expect to match these numbers with a stock motor car.

Man, you really can't beat that price. Spool looks awesome too btw!

I have an Evo 6.5 TME turbo... wonder if he would use the turbine out of that if I sent it in with a Evo 9 CHRA, "white-rabbit" style
